Training:
Before starting the installation, organize training for the installation personnel (or engineering team) to explain the installation process, battery usage, and maintenance precautions. Emphasize safety throughout the installation.
Inspection and Inventory:
Conduct an inspection of the batteries and an inventory of accessories. Have the supervisor sign and collect the packing list. Keep the system diagram, installation manual, and other documents in the accessory box safe until the project is complete and hand them over to the telecommunications company's technical staff for safekeeping.
Check Placement:
According to the construction drawings, check if the battery placement in the equipment room is reasonable, if maintenance space is reserved, if it is at least 0.5 meters away from heat sources and potential spark sources (such as fuse boxes), and if it is placed under the air conditioner. If it doesn't meet these conditions, consult the telecommunications company's engineering department about modifications, and document any changes.
Strict Adherence to System Diagram:
Follow the battery system diagram strictly for installation, ensuring no components are missed (including the battery cell numbering stickers). All system components (spare parts) should match the specified model and specifications in the installation diagram.
Prevent Short Circuits:
Since the batteries are already charged, prevent short circuits by wrapping all installation tools with insulating tape.
Clean Components:
Before installing the connection bars, clean the battery terminals, outer shell, and steel frame with a clean cloth, ensuring the battery terminals are dust-free. Securely affix the cell numbers.
Tighten Screws:
After installation, check all screws to ensure they are tight. Assign a dedicated person to inspect and confirm this, ensuring all screws are properly tightened.
Record Voltage:
After installation, measure and record the open-circuit voltage of each battery cell and the total voltage of the battery group. Fill in the installation statistics form (or a similar installation form).
Connection Precautions:
If the system is not connected to the mains power after installation, disconnect the batteries from the power supply and microwave equipment. If, for some reason, the connection cannot be disconnected (which is generally not allowed, especially for long periods), connect both battery groups simultaneously, not just one. Record the start time of the connection and the equipment's power consumption. Whether or not this connection was made, the battery group must be charged to 2.35V per cell for 12 hours before official commissioning to avoid significant harm to the battery's normal use.
Verify Power Supply Settings:
Before connecting the battery and the power supply, carefully check the power supply settings to ensure they are correct (refer to the power supply parameter settings table).
Final Inspection and Documentation:
After installation and commissioning, complete the relevant forms, check the battery appearance and record it, re-check all connection screws to ensure they are tight, and ensure the batteries are shockproof, slip-resistant, and reliably connected. Measure and record the float voltage of each cell, and have the telecommunications company's technical staff sign off on it.
